ABOUT

Based in Berkshire, I work mainly in acrylics on canvas, but occasionally delve into other media. I come from a design and illustration background and have always enjoyed the creative process whether drawing, painting, or other forms of expression. 

 

I use many starting points for my work including people, the natural world, or sometimes, just an idea or feeling. In recent works I study how the light filters through leaves and branches in woodlands, creating different moods and atmospheres. I enjoy full colour and playing with composition or examining and exaggerating the spaces between things.  My aim is to represent and communicate my own unique view of the world.
